Which companies sell cannabis products in India?
The ones you will actually encounter: Qurist, BOHECO, Cure By Design, Awshad, Hempstrol, Calmosis, The Trost, Cannazo India, Cannavedic and Kushiva.
Separately there are marketplaces — ItsHemp, CBD Store India, Aarogya CBD — which resell several of the above. Useful to buy from, but not brands in their own right.
What do they cost?
Cheapest listed entry points, checked August 2026: Cannazo's Vijaya Amrit at Rs 999, Kushiva's 10 ml oil at Rs 1,199, Cannavedic's Pure Vijaya from Rs 1,500, Awshad's 10 ml at Rs 1,600, and Qurist's 30 ml from Rs 2,549 on sale.
The top of the market goes considerably higher — Cure By Design's range reaches about Rs 10,500. Every listed price sits in the India cannabis wellness price index, dated and source-linked.
Are they all legal?
Yes, when they sell Ayurvedic preparations made from the cannabis leaf under an AYUSH licence. The NDPS Act 1985 bans the flowering tops and resin but specifically excludes leaves and seeds, which is the legal basis the whole category rests on.

Do they all require a prescription?
For ingestible extracts, effectively yes. What differs is the sequence and the cost. BOHECO consults first and prices afterwards. Cannazo makes the prescription and consultation free. Kushiva lets you order first and settle the doctor step after, at no extra cost, holding the order until it clears.
How do you tell them apart?
Not by strength, which is the trap. These companies state strength in four incompatible ways: milligrams per bottle, milligrams per millilitre, CBD:THC ratios per gram, and named tiers like Mild or Medium. A number on one label is not comparable to a number on another.
What you can compare is the listed price, the prescription process, and what each company says about its batch documentation. That is the honest basis for a shortlist.
Which company should I buy from?
It depends on what you need, and the useful answer is not a ranking. Qurist has by far the largest review base and a pet range. Cure By Design has the deepest potency ladder and a THC-free line. Hempstrol offers cash on delivery. BOHECO has the longest track record. Cannazo bundles a free consultation.

What should I check before ordering?
Four things, in this order: the strength and the unit it is stated in; the regular price rather than a sale price that has been running for months; what the batch document actually covers; and whether the doctor step happens before or after you pay.
