Awshad Alternative

Kushiva is a doctor-supervised Indian cannabis wellness brand with lower listed prices than Awshad (oils from Rs 1,199 versus Rs 1,600, checked July 2026), a certificate of analysis for every batch, and a prescription-upload option so existing prescription holders skip repeat consultations. Every order ships with a GST invoice in 3-5 working days.

Is Kushiva a good Awshad alternative?

Kushiva is a like-for-like alternative to Awshad for anyone who wants a lower listed price and a batch certificate they can read before paying. A 10 ml oil is Rs 1,199 against Awshad's Rs 1,600, and 30 ml is Rs 2,490 against Awshad's Rs 3,200 to Rs 5,100 range (July 2026). Both brands are doctor-routed and both operate under India's AYUSH framework. The practical difference is that Kushiva accepts an uploaded prescription, so an existing prescription holder does not sit through another consultation.

They do Tulsi. We only do mint. The other herbs just didn’t have the same thyme.

What this page compares: listed prices, stated policies and published product information, on the dates shown, with the source for each brand linked at the foot of the page. It does not compare potency, quality or suitability — the brands state strength in different units, so those are not like-for-like. What is actually in the bottle

  • Made in a GMP and ISO-certified facility. Manufacturing standards govern how consistently a batch is produced — the difference between a formulation that behaves the same way every time and one that does not.
  • Full-spectrum leaf extract, not an isolate. The leaf’s natural compound profile is retained rather than stripped down to a single molecule.
  • An MCT carrier oil, not a filler oil. Our oils are a 20% Vijaya leaf extract carried in MCT. Carrier choice is the quietest quality decision in this category and the one buyers rarely check.
  • Standardised strength, stated as a number. 200 mg per ml on the label, and 350 mg of standardised leaf extract per gummy — not a ratio you have to convert, and not a range.
  • Gummies with no added sugar. A cola-flavoured, portioned format that does not carry a confectionery sugar load with it.
  • Flavoured because extract is not pleasant. Mint in the oil, cola in the gummies. This matters more than it sounds when something is taken daily.
  • Blister-packed, one dose per cell. Portioning is hygiene and dose control at the same time.

Every figure above is printed on the approved label, so you can check it against the pack rather than take our word for it.

Brands label actives in different units, so the table compares price, proof and process — not potency. Amounts belong with the approved label and a registered medical practitioner. Prices and policies as listed on 16 July 2026; sources below.

The money

What you actually pay

02

Awshad prices its 10 ml oil at Rs 1,600 and its 30 ml bottles from Rs 3,200 up to Rs 5,100 depending on strength. Kushiva sits below both, but the more useful comparison is what the number on the label means. Awshad states total cannabinoid milligrams per bottle; Kushiva states extract milligrams per millilitre. A 500 mg Awshad bottle and a 2,000 mg Kushiva bottle are not two points on one scale, so treat price per bottle as the honest comparison and leave potency to the label and your doctor.

Prices are inclusive of GST, so the figure on the product page is the figure you pay. The right-hand column is arithmetic on the listed price, not a dosing suggestion — how much to take belongs with the approved label and a registered medical practitioner. The process

How ordering from Kushiva works

03
01

Pick a format, or let the quiz pick one

Oils let you adjust a drop at a time; gummies are pre-portioned; the enriched extract is concentrated. If you are not sure, the free format-finder quiz asks a handful of questions and points at one. Nothing is charged at this stage.

02

Already have a prescription from an Awshad consultation? Upload it

Ingestible cannabis extracts are doctor-routed in India, and there is no way around that. What differs is whether you have to repeat the step. A valid prescription from any registered practitioner — including one issued through an Awshad consultation — can be uploaded at checkout. If you do not have one, we arrange a consultation after you order and hold the order until it clears. Nothing ships without that step, and the legal position is set out here.

03

A doctor reviews the order before it is packed

This is the step most buyers do not realise happens. Whether you uploaded a prescription or took the arranged consultation, an in-house doctor looks at the order before dispatch. If something does not add up — a format that does not fit the request, an interaction worth flagging — we contact you rather than ship it. Our guide to Vijaya and other medicines covers the interactions that come up most often.

04

It ships in 3 to 5 working days with a GST invoice

Packaging is discreet and unbranded on the outside. A GST invoice is issued on every order, which matters if you are claiming it or simply want a paper trail. Prices are inclusive of GST, so the figure on the product page is the figure you pay. Delivery terms are set out in the refund and return policy.

Point by point

02

Your prescription carries over.

Already hold one? Upload it at checkout and skip the repeat consultation entirely.

03

The document exists, and you can have it.

Switching over

Moving from Awshad: what changes

05
Kushiva 10 ml cannabis leaf extract oil bottle with its mint-flavour box
The 10 ml oil at Rs 1,199 - the entry format, and Rs 401 less than Awshad's.
01

The number on the label will look different

Awshad quotes total cannabinoid milligrams per bottle. Kushiva quotes extract milligrams per millilitre, which stays constant whatever size you buy. Once you are used to it the second is easier to work with, because the strength does not change when the bottle does.

02

Your prescription carries over

A prescription written by a registered medical practitioner is valid regardless of which brand arranged the consultation. Upload it at checkout and you are through the same gate without paying for a second opinion.

03

The flavour range is narrower

Kushiva makes one mint oil and one cola gummy rather than a flavour menu. If you were buying Awshad specifically for a flavour variant, that is a real trade and worth knowing before you switch.

Where they win

When Awshad is the better buy

06

Flavoured oils are Awshad's genuine edge - if a Tulsi or mint variant is what gets you past the earthy taste, buy Awshad and enjoy it. It is also stocked on most multi-brand CBD marketplaces, so if you prefer buying through a marketplace you already trust, that is a fair reason to choose it.

Comparison pages are usually written by the winner, so treat this one the same way you would treat theirs: check the figures. Every price here is dated and sourced at the foot of the page, and if one is wrong we would rather fix it than defend it.

Straight answer

What we can promise, and what we cannot

07

We cannot promise it will do anything for you.

Nobody honestly can. Responses differ, and a seller who guarantees an outcome is telling you what you want to hear rather than what is true.

We can promise the label is the truth.

The 350 mg printed on the gummy is 13% of a 2,700 mg gummy, which works out at 351 mg on the batch certificate. The label and the document agree, and that is arithmetic you can check.

We can promise what carries it.

A 20% Vijaya leaf extract in an MCT carrier oil, not a filler oil. Full-spectrum rather than an isolate. Gummies with no added sugar, blister-packed one dose per cell.

We can promise a doctor sees it before you do.

Every order is reviewed in-house before it is packed. If something does not fit, we contact you instead of shipping it.

You are not really buying a bottle. You are buying the certainty of knowing exactly what is inside it, who checked it, and what it cost — on something you may take a few hundred times a year. We have done everything in our power to make sure what reaches you is exactly what we said it would be. The rest belongs with the approved label and your doctor.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

08

Is Kushiva cheaper than Awshad?

Yes, on comparable sizes as of July 2026: Kushiva's 10 ml oil is Rs 1,199 versus Awshad's Rs 1,600, and Kushiva's 30 ml is Rs 2,490 versus Awshad's 30 ml range of Rs 3,200 to Rs 5,100.

Do I need a prescription to order from Kushiva?

Ingestible extracts are doctor-routed. Upload an existing prescription at checkout, or Kushiva arranges a consultation after you order; the order is dispatched once that step clears.

Are Kushiva and Awshad strengths directly comparable?

No. Kushiva labels extract milligrams per ml (200 mg/ml); Awshad labels total cannabinoid milligrams per bottle. They are different units, so compare price, proof and process instead.

Can I see a certificate of analysis before I buy?

Yes. Email hello@kushiva.com with the product name and we will send the batch certificate. You do not need to have ordered anything first.

Is Kushiva legal to buy in India?

Yes. Kushiva sells cannabis leaf extract formats under India's AYUSH framework, which is the same regulatory route Awshad and other Indian brands use. Ingestible extracts are prescription-routed, which is why the doctor step exists.
