Comparing cannabis brands in India is like comparing recipes written in four different languages, where one is in metric, one is in cups, one refuses to specify, and one has been on sale since spring. We spent a week with nine of them, a spreadsheet, and a slowly deteriorating sense of humour. My wife asked what I was doing. I said I was working out what is in a bottle. She said that sounds like a drinking problem. She is not wrong about the spreadsheet.
Kushiva makes cannabis leaf extract in four formats, from Rs 1,199, with a certificate of analysis behind every batch.See the range
The short version: almost nobody in this market states strength the same way, which means almost nobody can be compared on strength. So we compared what actually can be compared — the price on the page, the process to buy, and what each brand says about its own paperwork — and we have shown our working.
This article is general information, not legal or medical advice. Cannabis products in India are regulated and, where medicinal, are prescription-only. Vijaya (cannabis leaf extract) should be used only under the supervision of a registered medical practitioner. Always verify a product's licence and lab report, and consult a qualified professional before use. Prices were checked on 14 August 2026 from each brand's own store and change often.
Key takeaways
- Nobody labels the same way. You will find milligrams per bottle, milligrams per millilitre, CBD:THC ratios per gram, and adjectives. These are not four points on one scale.
- Sale prices are doing a lot of work. Several brands run a near-permanent discount, so compare the regular price too, or you are comparing a mood.
- Doctor involvement is now standard. Every brand here routes ingestible products through a practitioner in some form. A seller that does not is the actual warning sign.
- Cheapest entry is Rs 999 to Rs 1,500 depending on brand and format; the top of the market runs past Rs 10,000.
Quick answer
As of August 2026, the nine brands worth knowing in Indian cannabis wellness are Qurist, BOHECO, Cure By Design, Awshad, Hempstrol, Calmosis, The Trost, Cannazo India and Cannavedic — plus Kushiva, who is writing this and therefore does not get to award itself a medal. Entry prices run from about Rs 999 to Rs 2,549 and the top of the market goes past Rs 10,000. The single most useful thing you can do before buying is check how a brand states its strength, because that determines whether you can compare it to anything else at all.
The units problem, which is the whole problem
Here is the thing nobody puts on a landing page. Four brands on this list describe strength in four incompatible ways:

- Milligrams per bottle. Cannavedic's CannaMild is "1000 mg". Useful, but only once you know the bottle volume.
- Milligrams per millilitre. Kushiva's oils are 200 mg/ml. Stays true whichever size you buy.
- CBD:THC ratios per gram. Hempstrol sells 1:1, 1:2 and 1:9. Precise, and completely unlike the other two.
- Adjectives. Qurist sells Mild and Medium. Mild compared to what, exactly, is left as an exercise for the reader.
None of these is dishonest. They are just different measuring systems sharing a shelf. Which means when a comparison article tells you Brand A is "stronger" than Brand B, it is almost always comparing a number to a different kind of number and hoping you do not check.
A 1:9 ratio per gram walks into a bar and asks for a measure. The barman has no idea how much to pour either. Neither, it turns out, does anyone comparing it to a 1000 mg bottle.
The nine brands, briefly and fairly
Each of these has a full comparison page with sourced prices, so this is the two-line version.
Qurist
The most visible brand in the category, and it earned that. Over a thousand reviews on a single oil is social proof a smaller brand cannot manufacture. 30 ml oils from Rs 2,549 on sale (Rs 2,999 regular), Sleepeasy gummies at Rs 2,124, plus dog and cat oils. Strength is stated as Mild or Medium. Full comparison.
Cure By Design
The deepest potency ladder here: NeuroCanna at 50 and 100 mg per ml, a 25% Extra Strong, gummies at 140 and 315 mg. Prices run roughly Rs 999 to Rs 10,500, and it offers a THC-free line and next-day metro delivery. If a practitioner has named a specific strength, this is where to look. Full comparison.
Cannazo India
AYUSH-licensed, with the most generous purchase offer on this list: a free prescription and a free doctor consultation on Rx products. Uplift Drops Rs 2,999, Calm Drops Rs 1,499, Vijaya Amrit Rs 999. Several lines were showing sold out when we checked, which is worth knowing before you plan around it. Full comparison.
Cannavedic
The closest match to Kushiva on price, which is an awkward thing to write on your own website and true anyway. CannaMild 1000 mg at Rs 2,500 against our 30 ml at Rs 2,490. It also sells a THC-free Pure Vijaya line from Rs 1,500, topicals, pet oils and Ayurvedic capsules. Full comparison.
BOHECO
The category veteran, in hemp since 2013, with a seed-food range nobody else here matches. Its cannabis medicine route is consult-first, so the price follows the consultation rather than preceding it. Full comparison.
Awshad
Flavoured oils are its real edge — if taste is what stops you taking something daily, that is not a small thing. 10 ml from Rs 1,600, 30 ml Rs 3,200 to Rs 5,100. Full comparison.
Hempstrol
Ratio-labelled THC oils from Rs 2,500, an in-house Ayurvedic doctor, and cash on delivery — which still matters to a lot of buyers and almost nobody else offers. Full comparison.
Calmosis
Named blends, including THC-free options, from about Rs 3,375 discounted. If THC-free is a hard requirement rather than a preference, it belongs on your shortlist. Full comparison.
The Trost
Higher-potency gummies (Kosha, 135 mg each, Rs 2,001 to Rs 3,999), an oil at Rs 4,499, and COAs sitting on the product pages where you can find them without asking anyone. Full comparison.
How to compare without losing an afternoon
Four checks, in order. They take about ten minutes and they will save you more than that.

- Find the strength, then find the unit. If a product says 1000 mg, ask 1000 mg in how much. If it says Medium, ask medium compared to what. A brand that cannot answer quickly has told you something.
- Check the regular price, not the sale price. A discount that has been running since spring is not a discount, it is the price wearing a hat.
- Ask what the lab document actually covers. "Lab tested" is a claim. A batch certificate with a batch number, a date and a named specification is evidence. Ask any seller which one they have, us included — our lab results page sets out exactly what ours covers and what it does not.
- Confirm the doctor step before you pay, not after. Every brand here has one. They differ in whether it happens before or after the order, and whether it costs anything.
What do you call a discount that has been running since spring? Not a discount. A price with a good publicist.
Where Kushiva actually sits
We are not going to pretend to be neutral about our own products, so here is the position stated plainly. Kushiva is the cheapest way into the category at Rs 1,199 for a 10 ml oil, and it states strength as 200 mg of extract per millilitre so the number survives a change of bottle size. Every batch has a certificate of analysis. An in-house doctor reviews every order before it is packed.
What we do not have: a THC-free line, a pet range, a potency ladder above 200 mg per ml, next-day metro delivery, or Qurist's review count. Four of the nine brands above beat us on at least one of those, and if that is the thing you are shopping on, buy theirs. We would rather you got the right product than our product.
You can see every listed price side by side, dated and source-linked, in the India cannabis wellness price index.
Nine brands. Four measuring systems. One very tired spreadsheet.
Frequently asked questions
Which cannabis brand is cheapest in India?
At entry, Cannazo's Vijaya Amrit at Rs 999 is the lowest single listed price, followed by Kushiva's 10 ml oil at Rs 1,199 and Cannavedic's Pure Vijaya from Rs 1,500 (August 2026). Cheapest per unit of extract is a different question, and one you can only answer where the brand states a per-millilitre figure.
Can I compare mg per bottle with mg per ml?
Only if you know the bottle volume. A 1000 mg bottle at 10 ml and a 1000 mg bottle at 30 ml are very different products. When a brand states milligrams per millilitre, the conversion is already done for you.
Do all these brands need a prescription?
Ingestible cannabis extracts in India are doctor-routed. What differs is the sequence and the cost: some consult first and price afterwards, some let you order and settle the prescription step after, some make the consultation free.
Is a brand with more reviews safer?
More reviews means more people have bought it, which is genuinely useful information about a seller's reliability. It is not information about what is in the bottle. For that you want the batch document.
Who did you leave out, and why?
Marketplaces rather than brands (ItsHemp, CBD Store India, Aarogya CBD) sell many of the names above and are worth using, but they are not comparable to a single brand. We also left out brands we could not verify current prices for, because an undated price is worse than no price.
Before you buy anything
Whichever brand you choose, take the amount from the approved label and a registered medical practitioner, not from a comparison article — including this one. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take regular medication, or have a diagnosed condition, speak to a doctor first. Our guide to Vijaya and other medicines covers the interactions that come up most often.
From Kushiva
Four products. Every price listed.
Oils at Rs 1,199 and Rs 2,490, gummies at Rs 3,550, enriched extract at Rs 3,500 — all inclusive of GST, all with a certificate of analysis behind the batch. Compare them against every other brand we track in the price index.
